Malayalam actor Meera Jasmine tied the knot with Anil John Titus, an engineer by profession employed in Dubai, at the CSI Mateer Memorial church in Palayam on Wednesday.
Only relatives and close friends of the bride and groom attended the wedding that took place under tight police security. Anil had moved the court seeking police protection as a former friend, whom he had planned to marry, and her father had threatened to stop the marriage. The Court on Tuesday instructed the state police to ensure no law-and-order problem took place during the marriage.
Actors Dileep, Kavya Madhavan and Mallika Sukumaran attended the marriage and the reception.
